About Daniel Ramos

Daniel Ramos investigates light-matter interaction at the nanometer scale, with special interest in its application for the development of new types of devices and sensors. His first works laid the foundations for biological detection through the dynamic characterization of nanoresonators, later going on to the study of nonlinear dynamic systems driven by optical forces and modeling of nanostructures. In this sense, his work in optomechanics stands out, where a controlled transfer of energy is carried out between nanophotonic cavities and mechanical modes of different types of nanostructures.
